Hashim Mohamed Salah (born April 15, 1994 ) is a Qatari middle and obstacle runner .

Athletic career

Hashim Mohamed Salah gained his first experience at international championships at the World Youth Championships in 2011 near Lille , where he eliminated over 2000 meters obstacle in the preliminary run. The following year he won the 3000 m obstacle course in 9: 04.65 min at the Junior Asian Championships in Colombo and was tenth at the Junior World Championships in Barcelona . In 2013 he reached ninth place over 1500 meters at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Palembang and at the 2014 IAAF World Relays in the BahamasHe was seventh with the Qatari 4 x 1500 meter relay in 15: 10.77 min. In 2015 he finished sixth at the Arab Championships in Manama and won the silver medal behind Bahraini John Kibet Koech at the Asian Championships in Wuhan in 8: 36.02 minutes . So he qualified for the World Championships in Beijing , where he was eliminated with 9: 17.35 s in the lead .

At the Indoor Asian Championships in 2016 in Doha he finished fourth in 8: 03.27 min and sixth at the IAAF World Relays 2017 with the 4 x 800 meter relay. At the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , as well as at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Aşgabat in early September, he finished fourth. He also won the 4 x 400 meter relay, in which he was used in the run-up. In 2018 he finished fifth at the Asian Games in Jakarta in 8: 35.40 minutes.
