Hot autumn

Hot autumn is a metaphor that is often used for different things . The alliteration hot autumn literally refers to a warm seasonal course and is of importance for agriculture, especially fruit and viticulture . As a meteorological phenomenon, a hot autumn than Indian summer and Indian summer known. The heat is metaphorically related to an escalating (often political) conflict . The announcement of a hot autumn is sometimes used as a threat.

  • In 1960, the catchphrase hot autumn was used to describe the problem of the West German economy, which was overheating as a result of the economic miracle.
