Heike Bollig
Heike Bollig (born December 19, 1973 in Karlsruhe ) is a German artist .
Life
After an apprenticeship as a wood sculptor at the vocational school for carpentry and wood carving in Berchtesgaden , Bollig studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and at the Karlsruhe University of Design from 1997 to 2004 . She passed the first state examination in art education in 2003 and received her diploma as a master student from Asta Gröting and Jürgen Drescher in 2004 . She has lived in Berlin since 2004 . In addition to her artistic work, she works as an art mediator.
Heike Bollig is the granddaughter of the anthroposophical educator and Nazi resistance fighter Hubert Bollig .

Bollig's artistic work includes sculptures , installations , photographs and actions in public space . She gained international attention with the Errors in Production project , which is dedicated to errors in industrial production .
