Cheerful to fatal: Henker & Richter is a German early evening crime series that was broadcast from November 2011 to March 2012 on Das Erste . It is set in Büdringhausen, a fictional place in Münsterland , Westphalia .

content

The dynamic and ambitious public prosecutor Henker starts a new life in her new home in Büdringhausen . With her impatience and full zest for action, she investigates in the smallest district court in Westphalia and thus messes up the usual channels.

In contrast to cheerful to fatal: Nordic tart and Hubert and Staller will not show how Saskia Henker is freshly opened in her new home.

characters

Saskia executioner

Saskia Henker is a public prosecutor in Büdringhausen. She had her move from Düsseldorf to the little town to take care of her grandmother and to start from scratch in her career. But the well-known public prosecutor quickly found that the investigations in the country are a little different than in the big city.

Klaus Wagenführ

Klaus Wagenführ is a judge in Büdringhausen and therefore works with Saskia Henker. Despite everyday differences of opinion, a sizzling mood develops between the two of them over the course of the series. The judge lives alone with his daughter Nadine and experiences the ups and downs of a father-daughter relationship with her.

Johannes Bulitta

Bulitta is a lawyer in Büdringhausen and is of the opinion that the new public prosecutor Henker does not really fit into the small town. He tries again and again to draw attention to himself through the press and sees himself as a future star lawyer. He receives frequent calls from his wife, and it becomes apparent that she is wearing the pants.

Peter Schulte Jr.

Peter Schulte is a passionate commissioner in Büdringhausen and thus Saskia's direct subordinate. He suffers from the fact that the residents of Büdringhausen have known him since he was a child and therefore do not really take their "little Peter" seriously as a tough police officer. However, he often convinces unexpectedly with flashes of inspiration and (unimportant) detailed knowledge.

Hedwig Holtkamp

Hedwig Holtkamp is Saskia Henker's grandmother and a real one-of-a-kind. She hates rigid rules and doesn't always behave according to the law. She doesn't necessarily behave as it would be normal for her age and likes to interfere in her granddaughter's investigations.

Dr. med. Doris Sturm

Dr. Sturm is a doctor and has been in Büdringhausen with its own practice independently made. She is very happy with the arrival of the modern Saskia and gets on well with her right away.

Nadine Wagenführ

Nadine Wagenführ is the daughter of the judge, who cannot refuse the student. In return, she sometimes jumps in for the women's soccer team he has trained.

background

The episodes were mainly shot in Monheim am Rhein near Düsseldorf . The old town hall in Haltern am See serves as the external backdrop for the courthouse . The series' chief author is Michael Gantenberg , who in addition to various comedy series also wrote TV films for the ARTE series Unter Verdacht and the Tatort .

On June 22, 2012, the ARD announced that Henker & Richter would not receive a second season due to poor audience ratings.

The 16 episodes broadcast on DVD have been available since August 27, 2013.
