Hieronymus Anton von Ziemiecki
Hieronymus Anton von Ziemiecki von Ziemiecin (born September 7, 1817 in Kalisch ; † February 26, 1906 in Krakow ) was a German or Austrian officer .
Life
Ziemiecki embarked on a military career and was promoted to Rittmeister in the Saxon Army . On September 27, 1851, he entered the Nassau service and became a major and adjutant .
On May 7, 1855 he was appointed lieutenant colonel and on March 3, 1862 colonel in the general staff . On February 7, 1865, he was promoted to adjutant general of the Ducal Nassau Army and major general .
After the lost German War in 1866, he was a Plenipotentiary to the Federal Military Commission and accompanied Duke Adolph I at the headquarters of the VIII Federal Army Corps . He then remained responsible for the handling of business and the release of the Nassau officers from their oath to the Duke.
On February 16, 1867, he entered Austrian service as a major general. On October 24, 1869 he became a Lieutenant Field Marshal . From 1874 to 1878 he was military commissioner in Kaschau , and from April 9, 1876, he was a real Austrian secret council . In 1878 he went as uncharacterized General Feldzeugmeister in pension . From 1876 to 1878 Ziemiecki was the owner of the Imperial and Royal Bohemian Infantry Regiment No. 36
