The Hinduraj is a mountain range in northern Pakistan , where it extends over the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .
In the west and north, the Hinduraj is separated from the Hindu Kush by the Chitral River and its tributaries Yarkhun and Mastuj, as well as the Karambar Pass . In the east the Hinduraj reaches up to the Karakoram and the Himalayas . The exact boundary here is formed by the river valleys of Karambar , Gilgit and Indus . The Swat drains the mountains in a southerly direction.
In Koyo Zom the mountains reach a height of 6872 m .
