Historical novels by Zabern

The series Historische Romane von Zabern is a series of books published by Philipp von Zabern from 2007 to 2011 with fiction titles from the field of historical novels . According to the publisher, the series is characterized by the fact that the works are written exclusively by experts in history or historians and archaeologists and the factual presentation is exact.

Almost all of the works in the series are German first publications. Only the novel Die Etruskerin by the well-known Etruscanologist Sybille Haynes is a slightly revised version of one already in 1981 under the title The Augur's Daughter. From the life of the Etruscans published by Zabern-Verlag in the series Kulturgeschichte der Antiken Welt , ISBN 3-8053-0463-3 .

While the volumes by spring 2010. hardcover appeared that later editions possessed only a Flexicover but have committed ribbon bookmark .
