Hohenkörben (parish Nordhorn) is a farming community and former municipality in the Grafschaft Bentheim district in Lower Saxony . Politically, the place belongs to the city of Nordhorn . To the north lies the farmers and former community of Hohenkörben (parish Veldhausen), which belongs to the community of Osterwald .

Hohenkörben is located in southwestern Lower Saxony, about 7 kilometers from the Dutch and 30 km from the North Rhine-Westphalian border. The nearest town is Wietmarschen (4 km east), the next towns are Nordhorn (9 km south-east) and Neuenhaus (9 km north-west).

Kreisstrasse 17, which connects Nordhorn and Alte Piccardie and continues as K 5 to Georgsdorf, leads through Hohenkörben. The L 45 in the north of Hohenkörben takes you to Wietmarschen and Lohne and in the opposite direction to Veldhausen and then as the L 44 to Neuenhaus. The Wietmarschen junction of the A 31 (towards Emden ) is about 10 km away, the Lingen junction (towards Bottrop or Hanover via A 30) 12 km and the Nordhorn / Bad Bentheim junction of the A 30 (towards Amsterdam ) about 21 km away.
