From 1979 to 1985 Feldmann's comics, for which Henze often wrote the lyrics, were regularly published in the satirical magazine pardon .
In 1985, in “Werner - Eiskalt!”, The fourth volume in the Werner series, Feldmann discussed a bet between him and Henze. It was about a race in which Werner competed against Holgi's 1967 Porsche 911 with the Red Porsche Killer , a self-built motorcycle powered by four Horex engines . In September 1988, the Werner Race actually took place as part of a three-day festival on Schleswig-Holstein's Hartenholm airfield in front of around 200,000 spectators, with Henze winning. Henze also won the new edition of the 2004 race at the Lausitzring .
30 years after the first race, he again competed with his Porsche in Hartenholm as part of a festival lasting several days against the Red Porsche Killer . On the 200 meter short section of the airfield runway, which was used for the drag race , he lost for the first time.
In 1997, Holger Henze published a comic called “Holgi”, which follows on from the 1988 race. In the 2011 movie Werner - Eiskalt! Henze played himself and also dubbed the character Holgi in the animated sequences of the film.
