The Honda CA 125 Rebel is a motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer Honda . The cruiser was built by Montesa Honda in Spain from 1995 to 2001.
The two versions JC 24 and JC 26 have different carburettors. The dry weight of 140 kg is rather high for a vehicle of the 125 cm³ displacement class, as the frame was also used for the models with 250 and 450 cm³ and was therefore designed to be quite stable. The two cylinders have a 44 mm diameter bore, the pistons have a stroke of 41 mm and a compression ratio of 9.4: 1. The machine develops a nominal output of 8 kW (11 hp) at 9500 revolutions and reaches a top speed of 101 km / h (JC26). The fuel tank has a capacity of 10 liters including a 2.7 l reserve, consumption averages 3.6 l / 100 km.
The Rebel is a small chopper, but the engine has to be kept at a very high speed level at all times if you want to move forward quickly. The engine characteristics are more suited to a sporty machine. Thanks to the relatively flat fork, the Rebel runs straight ahead, curves are less likely to be a chopper. It has a ground clearance of 150 mm and runs on the following tires: front: 3-00-18 47P and rear 130 / 90-15 M / C 66P.
The successor model is the Honda VT 125 Shadow .
