Honesty blacks
The Honschaft Black was from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, one of two Honschaften the parish Wipperfeld in district court Wipperfuerth the Office Steinbach in the Duchy of Berg . With the other Wipperfeld Honschaft Schneppen , Honschaft Schwarzen represents the area of today's Wipperfeld district .
In addition to the titular town of Schwarzen (today Mittel -, Ober - and Unterschwarzen ), Holte , Herweg , Grüterich , Arnsberg , Holl (today Ober - and Unterholl ), Weier , Gengesfeld , Wipperfeld , Kofeln , Überberg , Gerhardsfeld , Kirche and belonged to the honors Heath .
Under the French administration between 1806 and 1813, the Steinbach office was dissolved and the Honschaft was politically assigned to Mairie Olpe in the canton of Wipperfürth in the Elberfeld arrondissement . In 1816 the Prussians converted the Mairie to the Olpe mayor in the Wipperfürth district .
In 1975, due to the Cologne Act, the city of Wipperfürth was created in its current form, to which large parts of the municipality of Wipperfeld, in particular the area of the blacks, came.
