Huldsessen is a district and a district of the Lower Bavarian community Unterdietfurt in the Rottal-Inn district .

location

The church village of Huldsessen is located in the Rottal immediately north of the Rott , the Rottalbahn and the B 388, about halfway between Eggenfelden and Massing .

history

Huldsessen formed a chairman shaft in the district court Eggenfelden from which 1808, the control district to 1818 with the second Gemeindeedikt the community Huldsessen was formed. At the 1961 census, the community had an area of ​​1737.13 hectares , 1193 inhabitants and the 21 districts of Huldessen, Amersöd , Bergham , Ed , Handloh , Handwerk , Heißprechting , Hintersarling , Kochreit , Kreuzöd , Mainbach , Oberhamberg , Oberremmelsberg , Plöcking , Prüll , Ranzing , Unterhamberg , Unterremmelsberg , folk village , Vordersarling and Winichen . She came to the municipality of Unterdietfurt on January 1, 1972 with the regional reform in Bavaria . The area was separated again on May 1, 1978 and divided between the communities Eggenfelden and Falkenberg . In 1983 the separation of Huldsessen was lifted by the Bavarian Administrative Court, and it came back to Unterdietfurt.

There is a war memorial in the church cemetery. The new fire station of the Huldsessen Volunteer Fire Brigade was inaugurated in 1997. The village renewal in Huldsessen was successfully completed in 1999.

Attractions

The Expositurkirche St. Martin is a late Gothic complex from the second half of the 15th century. It used to be protected by a ring wall and moat, some traces of which are still preserved today. The tower has a stepped gable . The choir and nave have a ribbed vault . In 1875 the church received its current neo-Gothic interior. The figures come from different epochs, including St. George and a Madonna.
