IC 2480 = IC 2477? is a lenticular galaxy of Hubble type S0 in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic , the estimated 357 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center. However, the identification of IC 2477 is not certain.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on April 14, 1896 .
