IC 2468 is a lenticular galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Little Leo in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 362 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 40,000 ly. Together with IC 2467 , it probably forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on March 1, 1900 .
