IC 4796 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 in the constellation Telescope in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 136 million light years from the Milky Way and about 65,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies NGC 6707 , NGC 6708 , IC 4797 are located in the same region of the sky .
