IC 4800 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBa in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is an estimated 197 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light-years across .
The galaxies NGC 6706 , IC 4798 , IC 4799 , IC 4805 are located in the same region of the sky .
