IC 4915 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Telescope in the southern sky . It is around 686 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 200,000 light years .

The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on August 31, 1904 .
