IC 4933 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Telescope in the southern sky . It is around 217 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 120,000 light years .
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 6850 , NGC 6854 , IC 4919 .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on October 3, 1901 .
