The 2015/16 season was the fourth and final season of the ice hockey competition of the Inter-National League , which acted as the transnational successor to the National League . The EHC Bregenzerwald became INL champion for the second time .
Changes
After only one season, the 2014 newly founded club Steelers Kapfenberg had to pay tribute to the massive financial miscalculations and file for bankruptcy on July 7, 2015. A successor association was founded in June 2015. The KSV Hockey as a separate section under the umbrella of Kapfenberger Sportvereinigung . This kept the number of Austrian clubs the same. On the other hand, 2 Slovenian clubs, HK Triglav Kranj and HK MK Bled, ended their involvement in the INL .
This means that 9 clubs will play for the championship title in the second-highest division in the 2015/16 season.
