iOS 11 is the 11th version of Apple's iOS mobile operating system , which was developed as the successor to iOS 10. It was announced at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference on June 5, 2017 and released on September 19, 2017.
On June 4, 2018, Apple announced the successor iOS 12 at the Worldwide Developers Conference .
Changes
The lock screen and notification center have been combined so that all notifications can be viewed right on the lock screen. The App Store is getting a visual makeover that focuses on editorial content and daily highlights. The file manager app "Files" enables direct access to local files and files stored in the cloud. The camera has new settings for enhanced portrait photos and uses new encoding technologies to reduce file size on newer devices.
The Invert Colors user guide has been expanded to include an intelligent option. This means that many apps can be read more gently with a black background.
Supported devices
With iOS 11, only devices with 64-bit processors are supported. Compared to iOS 10 , devices with the Apple A6 and A6X are no longer supported.
