iOS 7 is the seventh major version of the iOS mobile operating system from Apple Inc. It was announced at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference on June 10, 2013 and released on September 18, 2013. The successor to iOS 7 is iOS 8 .
Innovations
iOS 7 receives a strong visual renewal, the surface is kept in a minimalist design , not like in the earlier versions in skeuomorphism . The innovation is thanks to the team of the newly hired Senior Vice Design President Jony Ive . The icons and slide-to-unlock have been given a strong visual update. AirDrop was introduced, a wireless sharing function. CarPlay enables the phone to be integrated into the car's audio system. The App Store can automatically download app updates.
