Aldo from Pinelli
Aldo von Pinelli , actually Aldo Pinelli (born September 11, 1912 in Cervara di Roma , † December 18, 1967 in Munich ) was an Italian writer , songwriter , screenwriter and film producer .
Life
He studied literary history and began his work in Berlin in the 1930s as a copywriter for the cabaret theater Die Katakombe and Cabaret of Comedians . He also wrote film scripts since the middle of the decade.
Pinelli's area of expertise was light comedy, very often in connection with hit music, to which he often contributed the lyrics. His lyrics with melodies by composers such as Peter Kreuder , Ludwig Schmidseder , Peter Igelhoff and Anton Profes have also been heard in other films, for example in We make music and appeared on records. Probably his best-known titles Buy you a colorful balloon from the film The White Dream (1943) and I still have a suitcase in Berlin . He also wrote plays and poems. Even after the end of National Socialism, he supplied the hit market with ready-made goods.
In recent years Pinelli was co-owner of the melody film and was involved as a co-producer on several films. He took over the overall management of the lavish film adaptation of the novel Onkel Toms Hütte in 1965. He also wrote numerous radio plays .
