Igor Jurjewitsch Polygalow ( Russian Игорь Юрьевич Полыгалов ; born October 21, 1986 in Perm , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Traktor Chelyabinsk from the Continental Hockey League (KHL) since June 2020 and there on the Position of the striker plays.
Career
Igor Polygalov began his career as a hockey player in the junior division of Molot-Prikamje Perm , for whose professional team he was active from 2003 to 2006, initially in the Vysschaya League and after being promoted to the second division in the 2003/04 season in the Super League for two years . While he played predominantly in his first two seasons at Molot-Prikamje for the second team in the third-rate Pervaya League , he was a regular in the professional team of Molot-Prikamje in the 2005/06 season . In this season, the attacker and his team had to accept relegation to the second division, whereupon he spent the following two years at Severstal Tscherepowez in the super league.
For the 2008/09 season , Polygalov signed a contract with HK Spartak Moscow , for which he then only played five games in the newly founded Continental Hockey League , in which he remained unpunished. He then moved to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk within the KHL , for which he was on the ice in the KHL until 2017. At the beginning of the 2017/18 season , Polygalov was on the ice for two seasons for HK Traktor Chelyabinsk before he moved to HK Dynamo Moscow in the 2019/20 season. After a year, he returned to Traktor Chelyabinsk in June 2020.
