Fyodor Michailowitsch Malychin ( Russian Фёдор Михайлович Малыхин ; born November 13, 1990 in Sverdlovsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Traktor Chelyabinsk from the Continental Hockey League since May 2019 .
Career
Fyodor Malychin began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Spartakovets Yekaterinburg, where he was active until 2005. The attacker then played for two years in the youth division of HK Tractor Chelyabinsk , before returning to his hometown in 2007 and joining Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg there. First he played for two years for the second team of Awtomobilist in the third-rate Pervaya League and then for two years for the junior team Awto Yekaterinburg in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League . In the 2009/10 season he was the MHL's top scorer with 42 goals. Parallel to the game in the MHL, the Russian made his debut for the professional team of Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the Continental Hockey League in the 2010/11 season . He remained pointless in five games and received six penalty minutes.
In the following playing years, Malychin continuously increased his points and scored 47 points scorer in 58 KHL games in the 2013/14 season, which attracted the interest of the KHL top clubs and earned him his first three A-internationals. In May 2014 he consequently switched to Ak Bars Kazan . With Ak Bars he won the Gagarin Cup in 2018 and thus the Russian championship title .
In May 2019, Malychin signed a contract with HK Tractor Chelyabinsk
