Ilona Teimurasova

Ilona Teimurasowa (born February 23, 1977 in Tbilisi ; bourgeois Ilona Krassenbaum ) is a German concert pianist and music teacher .

Career

Ilona Teimurasowa was born in Tbilisi ( Georgia ) in 1977 and attended the music high school for gifted children " Sakaria Paliaschwili " there from 1982 . At the age of nine she played her first piano concerto by Johann Sebastian Bach and at the age of ten she played her first Beethoven concerto.

In 1994 she began her studies at the Liszt School of Music Weimar with Gunda Köhler-Scharlach and from 1995 also with Lazar Berman . In 1996 she was employed on a fee basis as an assistant for accompaniment at the Weimar Academy of Music. 1999 completion of music studies with diploma and a further postgraduate studies with Lazar Berman. In 2000, this was followed by a pedagogical supplementary course with a degree in pedagogy . 2005 concert exam at the Hanover University of Music and Theater with Bernd Goetzke .

Ilona Teimurasowa played with the National Symphony Orchestra of Georgia , the Jena Philharmonic and the Lower Saxony Youth Symphony Orchestra .

Solo concert tours have taken her to New York , Madrid , Oslo , Rome , Milan , Piacenza , Cervo , Weimar , Hanover , Paderborn , Berlin , Hamburg , Bonn and to the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Herzberg Palace Concerts .

She also played on Georgian television , the BBC and WDR .

Ilona Teimurasowa lives with her family in Hanover , where she also works as a freelance music teacher.
