Ina Stein

Ina Stein (born January 9, 1925 in Glogau ) is a German costume designer .

She grew up in Potsdam , where her father was stationed as a cavalryman and initially worked as a mannequin. Then she went to the UFA junior school and was trained as a costume designer by Jörg Zimmermann.

In the 1950s she worked as a carpenter's assistant at the Hebbel Theater in Berlin . In 1958 she was first used as a costume designer for a film by the Munich producer Franz Seitz . After that, she often worked for Seitz, especially on strips with the child star Hansi Kraus , but she also furnished three Edgar Wallace films and a few Ganghofer adaptations.

Since 1977 she has only designed for television, including series such as Jauche and Levkojen , Derrick and Moselbrück . In August 1999 she immigrated to live with her relatives in Australia.
