content
Maximilian Treff, who has just opened a small travel agency , and the ballet dancer Gipsy Müller are secretly getting married. Above all, Gipsy's boss Daniela von Logen is not allowed to know anything about her marriage, as the dancers in her group are prohibited by contract from being married. Maximilian learns from Gipsy that Daniela has been secretly together for several years with his best friend, the theater director Ronald Twiss, who has not least engaged ballet at the theater for years. For Maximilian, one thing is certain: If he manages to get Ronald to marry Daniela, he and Gipsy can also be open about their marriage.
So Ronald proposes to Daniela, which she promptly rejects. Ronald is a good friend, but not a man who stays with a woman forever. Angry, Ronald Danielas Ballet terminated the engagement. Since the ballet members have several weeks off until their next possible engagement, they decide to go on vacation. Gipsy unobtrusively guides Daniela to Maximilian's small travel agency. Daniela, in turn, disguises himself as an old woman because of Daniela's displeasure with all men, pretends to be Maximilian's mother and books rooms for the twelve ballet girls and Daniela in the luxury hotel Seeblick on the picturesque Königssee . Disguised as his mother, he succeeds in integrating her well-bred son - himself - into the trip as the ideal travel companion. When the group arrives at the Hotel Seeblick, however, there are no reservations. When ordering, Maximilian confused the Grand Hotel “Seeblick” with the simple “Seehof” inn.
There the farmer Xaver Mitterwurzer, his wife and daughter are already in a state of excitement. On the one hand, the amount for the reservation was received in cash and all three have never had so much money at once and on the other hand, their little inn is not designed for 14 people. Without further ado, they convert the cowshed into a bedroom. Daniela and her ballet girls are not very enthusiastic, but accept the situation after a partially awake night, especially since three singers camping on the property offer good entertainment and Xaver Mitterwurzer also makes every effort.
Maximilian and Gipsy meanwhile continue trying to implement their marriage plan for their friends. They bring Ronald to the Königssee, who moves into the Hotel Seeblick. With a trick - Maximilian disguises himself as Emperor Franz Joseph and makes Daniela believe that her room is haunted - he gets Daniela to leave the Hotel Seehof and move into the Hotel Seeblick in a hurry. There she meets Ronald and is very relieved about it. After Ronald confessed the "spook" to her the next day, she was more than horrified: She had asked Gipsy, who was supposed to look at the spook and allegedly saw nothing, but then in what was evidently documented for Daniela by "Kaiser Franz Joseph" To stay in bed, which she promptly did. Daniela rushes back to the Hotel Seehof and finds Gipsy and Maximilian in bed. Since the girl has now lost his honor, Daniela urges Gipsy and Maximilian to marry immediately. Both agree. Daniela also believes that Ronald will soon ask her for her hand, but he swears that after all the hustle and bustle of his first marriage proposal he will never ask her for her hand again - and receives a resounding slap in the face from Daniela .
The wedding day between Gipsy and Maximilian has come. However, as they admit that they are already married shortly before the wedding, Daniela happily agrees to Ronald's renewed marriage proposal and shortly afterwards they both drive around in a boat on the Königssee, newlyweds.
