Monika Dahlberg

Monika Dahlberg (* 30th April 1936 in Pomerania as Rosemarie Rödelberger ) is a German actress and singer .

Life

Monika Dahlberg is the sister of the late musician, producer, composer and arranger Wolfgang Rödelberger .

She trained as an opera singer and actress in Kiel. In 1954 she made her stage debut as Papagena in a performance of the Magic Flute at the Kiel City Theater. She was employed there until 1957. That year she signed a three- year contract with Constantin Film .

Monika Dahlberg played in many homeland films and comedies , including 1975 in Der Edelweißkönig . In the films of the series Die Lümmel von der Erste Bank she was the often overwhelmed school secretary Miss Weidt, in the pseudo-enlightening sex film Girls at the Gynecologist she played the doctor's assistant.

She was the voice actress in the films Mary Poppins and My Fair Lady . On stage she embodied Eliza Doolittle over a thousand times in the musical My Fair Lady . As a freelance artist, she gave guest performances at numerous theaters, mainly in Munich , and performed in concerts as an interpreter of classical and popular chants.

From 1960 Monika Dahlberg was often represented on television, both in music programs and television games, such as alongside Erwin Linder and Kurt Großkurth in the comedy The Merry Vineyard by Carl Zuckmayer . She was also seen more often in the Zum Stanglwirt series. In Komödienstadel they had several performances. From 1992 to 1993 she appeared in the RTL series Ein Schloß am Wörthersee , where she played the wife of Leo Laxeneder ( Helmut Fischer ). Today she can still be seen from time to time at the Chiemgauer Volkstheater .

Monika Dahlberg was married to fellow actor Klaus Kindler ; she lives in Benediktbeuern .
