Wolfgang Rödelberger

Wolfgang Rödelberger (born July 11, 1934 in Stolp , Pomerania , † April 1, 2010 in Munich ) was a German music producer , composer , musician and arranger .

Life

Wolfgang Rödelberger was the brother of Rosemarie Rödelberger, who became known under the name Monika Dahlberg .

In the 1970s he also released dance music with his Wolf Berger Party Band and accompanied Wolfgang Rödelberger recordings by famous stars with his orchestra . Some of his compositions have been heard at national and international competitions. He composed and wrote texts until the 1980s. Well-known interpreters of his songs were Adrian Wolf , Andreas Hauff , Dieter Thomas Heck , Freddy Quinn , Jonny Hill , Karel Gott , Lolita , Lydia Huber , Michael Holm , Michael Schanze , Nicole , Peter Maffay , Roberto Blanco and the duo Wyn & Andrea . He conducted and arranged the Eurovision Song Contest entries Theater by Katja Ebstein (1980) and Johnny Blue by Lena Valaitis (1981). Most recently he produced Angela Wiedl .

Ralph Siegel wrote in his biography in 2015:

“Wolfgang Rödelberger, from whom I received harmony lessons in the early years, always wrote the most beautifully. His scores not only sounded good, they were as clean as a pinch. "

Wolfgang Rödelberger died at the age of 75. He was married to Renate Rödelberger, with whom he had a son. His body was buried in the north cemetery in Munich.
