ingenhoven architects is an architecture firm based in Düsseldorf .
history
The architecture office was founded in 1985 by Christoph Ingenhoven . It has won numerous first prizes in international competitions and awards for completed projects. The planners and architects at ingenhoven architects have developed projects of all sizes and types in almost all regions of the world - all in accordance with the highest green building standards such as LEED, Green Star (Australia), BREEAM (GB), DGNB (Germany) and CASBEE (Japan).
From 2000 to 2004 the office operated with Jürgen Overdiek as a partner under Ingenhoven Overdiek und Partner .
The office is located in the Düsseldorf Medienhafen, Plange Mühle. Around 100 employees from all over the world work there.
The most important buildings completed include the RWE Tower in Essen, the Lufthansa Aviation Center at Frankfurt Airport, the new headquarters of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, the Daniel Swarovski Corporation on Lake Zurich and the Lanserhof health resort on Lake Tegernsee. The new town hall in Freiburg im Breisgau and the office's largest project to date - the Marina One high-rise complex in Singapore, were recently completed.
