The main activity of the company is to own, manage and develop real estate assets as well as manage real estate funds on behalf of third party investors. Dexus invests in Australia only and directly owns $ 15.6 billion in office and industrial real estate. The history of Dexus goes back to Deutsche Bank , which managed several real estate funds externally from 1984 to 2004.

  • 1984: Deutsche Industrial Trust (DIT) is listed on the ASX.

  • 1998: Deutsche Office Trust (DOT) is listed on the ASX.
  • 2001: The company acquires DWPF management rights.
  • 2004: DDF, DIT, DOT are combined in the DB RREEF Trust. 50% of the administrative rights will be acquired by Deutsche Bank.
