Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is a French real estate and investment company that was created through the merger of Unibail ( France ) and Rodamco Europe ( Netherlands ) and the takeover of Westfield Corporation ( Australia ).
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is the owner of many commercial properties, particularly shopping centers , but also offices and event halls. The company is also a retail operator at American airports. The land owned by the company is spread over 27 cities in 12 countries on two continents. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield operates 92 centers worldwide. The most successful include Westfield Stratford in London with 49 million visitors a year and Quatre Temps in Paris with 42 million visitors a year. In Germany, the Centro attracts the most visitors a year with around 15 million. A total of 1.2 billion people come to the Group's centers every year. The total value of the existing portfolio of the group amounts to 65 billion euros.
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is listed on the Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext Paris stock exchanges. A secondary listing was set up in Australia through Chess Depositary Interests. The group has an A rating from Standard & Poor's, Moody's and Fitch Ratings.
Since July 2014 Unibail-Rodamco has held 91.15% of the German mfi group; In 2015 mfi renamed Unibail-Rodamco Germany . In 2018, Unibail-Rodamco SE bought the Australian company Westfield and has since been called Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.
