General Property Trust is a Sydney- based Australian real estate company that owns and manages a diversified portfolio of Australian retail, office and logistics properties. The company's segments include retail, office, logistics and fund management. The Retail segment owns, develops and manages regional and subregional shopping centers as well as GPT's participation in the GPT Wholesale Shopping Center Fund. The Office segment owns, develops and manages central office properties in the business district with some associated retail space as well as GPT's participation in the GPT Wholesale Office Fund. The Logistics segment owns, develops and manages logistics and industrial park facilities. The Funds Management segment manages two Australian real estate wholesale funds in the retail and office sectors. GPT owns and manages real estate including Melbourne Central and Highpoint Shopping Centers in Melbourne, Australia Square, 1 Farrer Place and Citigroup Center in Sydney and One One One Eagle Street in Brisbane.

The group has been listed in Australia since April 1971 and is now one of the largest diversified listed real estate groups in Australia.

Fund management

GPT Wholesale Office Fund (GWOF)

The Fund was launched in July 2006 with a portfolio of A $ 2.2 billion of office properties in Australia's major office markets. Since its inception, GWOF has grown gradually, increasing the diversity and size of the fund. As of December 31, 2018, the Fund held 17 office properties valued at A $ 7.8 billion in the Australian office markets.


GPT Wholesale Shopping Center Fund (GWSCF)

The fund was established in March 2007 with an A $ 1.9 billion portfolio consisting of interests in eight retail properties in New South Wales and Victoria. As of December 31, 2018, the fund was involved in 8 retail properties valued at A $ 4.8 billion.
