Ione Skye (* 4. September 1970 in London ) is a British actress .

Life and accomplishments

Ione Skye was born under the name Ione Skye Leitch as the daughter of the Scottish singer Donovan and the American model Enid Karl. She is the sister of the actor Donovan Leitch . She attended Hollywood High School in 1987.

Skye made her debut in the film drama The Knife on the Shore (1986), in which she played a larger role alongside Crispin Glover and Keanu Reeves . For this role she was nominated for the Young Artist Award in 1988 . She played the leading role in the science fiction film Stranded from 1987, and in the drama Teen Lover (1989) directed by Cameron Crowe she appeared alongside John Cusack . In the comedy Café Blue Eyes - Sleepless Desire (1996) she played the lead role, in one of the supporting roles Jennifer Aniston appeared.

Skye was in a relationship with Anthony Kiedis , the singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers , for several years in the late 1980s . From 1991 to 1999 she was married to Beastie Boys member Adam Horovitz , whom she left for a lesbian relationship with model Jenny Shimizu . She married David Netto in 2001 and divorced in 2004. She has a daughter from her second marriage.
