Red hot chili peppers
Kiedis had met his bandmate Flea in high school and they quickly became good friends. Hillel Slovak came a little later, also through high school, and within a short time Kiedis, Flea and Hillel became an inseparable trio. With Jack Irons , they formed the Tony Flow & The Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem (Kiedis was nicknamed Antoine the Swan ) for a performance in 1983 , which then became the Red Hot Chili Peppers .
Drug addiction
Due to his later heroin addiction, he was briefly excluded from the band by his friends Flea and Hillel Slovak. After a withdrawal and an interview with Flea, he was reinstated. After Slovak died of a heroin overdose in 1988 , Kiedis decided to stop using drugs.
