The Italian Football Championship 1902 was the fifth Italian football championship , which was held by the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC).
organization
From March 2 to 23, 1902, the regional qualifying matches for the finals took place. The semifinals took place on April 6, 1902.
The final took place on April 13, 1902 at the Campo Sportivo di Ponte Carrega in Genoa . Here, defending champions AC Milan and the then record champions CFC Genoa met in a new edition of the previous year's final. The CFC Genoa prevailed 2-0 and revenged themselves for the defeat in the last final. The Genoese won their fourth Italian championship title and were awarded the Fawcus Cup for the first time .
