Italian football championship 1912/13

The Italian Football Championship 1912/13 was the 16th Italian football championship , which was held by the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC). For the first time teams from southern Italy were allowed to take part in the championship.

First a master from northern and one from southern Italy was determined, with the clubs of the individual regions first playing against each other and then in a final round the winner in the north and in the south was determined. The two victorious teams then played the Italian football champions 1912/13 in a final. For the first time, FC Novara , Racing Libertas Milano , Volontari Venice and FC Modena took part from the north . In addition, there were 10 more debutants through the first participation of the South, including u. a. Lazio Rome and predecessor clubs of AS Roma and SSC Napoli .
