Jürgen Batscheider

Jürgen Batscheider (born December 29, 1962 in Memmingen ) is a German painter and sculptor from Swabia .

biography

Jürgen Batscheider was born in Memmingen in Swabia in 1962. He completed school education in 1981 with the Abitur . He then worked as a painter and sculptor and opened his first painting studio in Memmingen in 1984. He graduated from the vocational school for wood carving and carpentry in the district of Berchtesgadener Land with distinction from 1986 to 1989. Since 1990 he has had a painting, sculpture and graphics studio in Memmingen. He has had a winter atelier since 2002 in Port Grimaud on the Côte d'Azur . In 2010 he founded the artist group Woodhenge.
