Rufina is an Italian commune in the metropolitan city of Florence in the Tuscany region with 7266 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).
geography
The municipality is part of the Comunità montana Montagna Fiorentina . It is located about 20 km east of the provincial and regional capital Florence on the Sieve .
The districts include Agna, Casi, Casini, Castelnuovo, Cigliano, Contea, Falgano, Masseto, Pomino, Rimaggio, Scopeti, Selvapiana, Stentatoio and Turicchi.
Rufina borders the municipalities of Dicomano , Londa , Montemignaio ( AR ), Pelago , Pontassieve and Pratovecchio Stia (AR).
