Pelago is an Italian commune with 7690 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Florence in the Tuscany region .
geography
The community extends over about 55 km². It is located around 20 km east of Florence and belongs to the administrative community Comunità montana Montagna Fiorentina .
The districts include Borselli, Carbonile, Consuma, Diacceto, Fontisterni, Magnale, Palaie, Paterno, Raggioli, San Francesco, Sant'Ellero and Stentatoio.
The neighboring municipalities are Montemignaio ( AR ), Pontassieve , Pratovecchio Stia (AR), Reggello , Rignano sull'Arno and Rufina .
