Jürgen Dohme

Jürgen Dohme (born June 24, 1937 in Nuremberg ) is a German film producer .

Life

After graduating from high school, Dohme studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and business administration at the LMU. From 1965 to 1971 he worked as a production manager at Rob Houwer Film in Munich and from 1972 to 1976 as a freelance production manager at the film companies Intertel, Polyphon and Multimedia. In 1975 he founded Scorpion Film with Bernhard Wicki, which produced his film Die Eroberung der Zitadelle . From 1977 Jürgen Dohme worked as a freelance producer. To this end, he founded Balance Film in Munich with the directors Helmut Dietl in 1977 , Active Film in 1978 with Dieter Wedel and Tao Film in 1979 with Tom Toelle. These three companies produced a number of other projects in addition to films by the directors involved.
