Eberhard Schröder , actually Eberhard Fritz Schroeder (born November 18, 1933 in Hanover ; † March 31 or April 1, 1974 in Munich ) was a German film director , assistant director , costume designer and film architect .

Life

Schröder began his film career in 1959 as assistant director to Kurt Hoffmann and served this director in his productions from The Beautiful Adventure to Snow White and the Seven Jugglers . Schröder then assisted in the comedy Two Whiskey and a Sofa with Maria Schell and some adventure films from Wolf C. Hartwig's Rapid film, including White Freight for Hong Kong (1964) and The Last Three of the Albatros (1965). In between he made his directorial debut in a television production in 1963.
