Jürgen Pomorin
Jürgen Pomorin (born January 15, 1953 in Bochum ; pseudonym Leo P. Ard ) is a German (investigative) journalist , writer and screenwriter .
Life
Pomorin first worked as a banker before he became a journalist . Together with Reinhard Junge , Georg Biemann and HP Bordien , he wrote reports about old and new Nazis in the Federal Republic of Germany . As the editor of the youth magazine Elan, published by the Socialist German Workers' Youth (SDAJ), he did some research on site by infiltrating right-wing organizations in disguise. He was dishonorably dismissed from the Bundeswehr in July 1974 because of his political commitment, which he reported in Stir your comrades - Diary of a conscript (Dortmund 1975). He sued the Federal Republic of Germany against his dismissal. The Gelsenkirchen Administrative Court ruled in 1980 that his dismissal was unlawful.
Building on these experiences, he wrote (under the pseudonym Leo P. Ard) together with Reinhard Junge crime novels in the local color of his homeland, the Ruhr area . Pomorin also wrote numerous scripts for crime series such as Balko , Tatort and Polizeiruf 110 under the same pseudonym .
Jürgen Pomorin lives in Manacor on Mallorca and in Berlin; his longtime partner and co-author Birgit Grosz died in October 2012. Since January 2016 he has been married to the doctor Lisa Liccini.
Awards
In 1995 he received the Adolf Grimme Prize with gold for the film Totes Gleis from the series Polizeiruf 110 (together with Bernd Böhlich , Michael Illner , Otto Sander and Ben Becker ).
