Jürgen Schmidt (actor)
Jürgen Schmidt (born April 30, 1938 in Bochum , † November 15, 2004 in Munich ) was a German actor .
Schmidt initially celebrated theatrical successes in Hanover as Mephisto in Goethe's Faust . He played a detective superintendent in the previous evening series, Einsatz für Lohbeck, and had roles in other well-known crime series. Schmidt also became known to a large audience as Commissioner Holm Diekmann in the crime series Polizeiruf 110 , in which he participated until 2002 .
Schmidt was married to the actress Loni von Friedl . His daughter Katharina comes from an earlier relationship with the actress Rosemarie Schubert . He died of leukemia .
