Michael Jace

Michael Jace (born July 13, 1962 in Patterson , New Jersey ) is an American actor and convicted murderer .

Michael Jace was born in Patterson City and raised in New York City . He played basketball and baseball while he was in high school in Hackensack , New Jersey . Years later, Michael Jace played because of his athletic talent and striking resemblance to Michael Jordan this in the American television film Michael Jordan: An American Hero .

Michael Jace got into acting while studying at college while watching his then girlfriend practicing a play. He then studied acting at the Classic Stage Conservatory in New York. After graduation, Michael Jace worked in smaller theaters in the United States before moving to Los Angeles to advance his career. He got his first television role in the US television series Law & Order . This was followed by other supporting roles in television productions and movies .

In 2002 Michael Jace became known to global audiences for his role as the very Christian and homosexual police officer Julien Lowe in the television series The Shield .

Murder trial

On May 19, 2014 Michael Jace got into an argument with his second wife April, as a result of which he shot them in front of their two children. He then called the police himself and was arrested in front of his house in the Hyde Park district of the metropolis of Los Angeles. As early as 2011, Jace filed for personal bankruptcy and loaned his house a mortgage .

On June 1, 2016, a jury convicted him after a week-long trial in a Los Angeles court for second degree murder , i.e. murder with conditional intent. The length of the sentence was announced on June 10, 2016. Jace has to go to jail for 40 years.
