James Flynn (politician)

James T. Flynn (born September 25, 1944 ) is an American politician . Between 1983 and 1987 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Wisconsin .

Career

In 1970, James Flynn graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee . After completing a law degree at the same university and being admitted to the bar in 1973, he began to work in this profession. At the same time he embarked on a political career as a member of the Democratic Party . He was elected to the Wisconsin Senate in 1972, 1976, and 1980, respectively .

Between 1983 and 1987 Flynn served as Lieutenant Governor Tony Earl of Wisconsin. After serving as Lieutenant Governor, he returned to practice as a lawyer. Since 2003 he has been a member of the Wisconsin Labor and Industry Review Commission , which he has chaired since 2006.
