Jan Washausen (born October 12, 1988 in Göttingen ) is a German football player .
Career
Washausen switched to the youth team at Eintracht Braunschweig in 2006 after playing for several clubs in his hometown of Göttingen.
In the 2007/08 season he received a professional contract with Eintracht Braunschweig for the Regionalliga Nord . Washausen made his debut in men's football on August 4, 2007, in a game in the first round of the DFB Cup against SV Werder Bremen . In the further course of the season he played 15 league games in which he was able to score a goal and was involved in qualifying for the newly created 3rd division .
In the 2008/09 season he played 18 games in the first team and in 2009/10 , when Eintracht only narrowly missed promotion to the second division with fourth place, 12 games. In the 2010/11 season , Eintracht Braunschweig celebrated promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga as champions of the 3rd division, but Jan Washausen only made five season appearances. A year later, Washausen was again a regular player and a total of 17 times in the league in the second half of the 2011/12 season , also because several other players from the Braunschweig back team were absent due to injury . After a foot operation, Washausen missed the entire first half of the 2012/13 season , which ended Eintracht as leaders.
In January 2013, Washausen was loaned to third division team Kickers Offenbach until the end of the 2012/13 season. He made his Bundesliga debut on October 19, 2013 (9th matchday) in the 3-2 defeat in the home game against FC Schalke 04 . Due to a torn cruciate ligament, he was out for an indefinite period at the end of the 2013/14 season. Despite his injury, the expiring contract with Jan Washausen was extended for another year. In the 2-0 success against TSV 1860 Munich, Washausen made his comeback in the starting line-up. In June 2015, Washausen moved to SV Elversberg . He made his debut in the cup game against FC Augsburg .
On January 26, 2018, the third division FSV Zwickau announced Washington's commitment.
After the 2017/18 season he moved to the third division Hallescher FC .
