Jana Nejedly (* 9. June 1974 as Jana Nejedlá in Prague , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Canadian tennis player .
Career
Nejedly mainly played on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she won eight tournaments in singles.
In 1995 she made her debut in the Canadian Fed Cup team where she played a total of 26 matches in 23 encounters in 1995 , 1996 , 1998 , 2000 , 2001 , 2002 and 2003 until 2003 , of which she was able to finish 20 victoriously, 19 of them singles and a double.
At the 1996 Summer Olympics , she competed in the women's singles , but lost in the first round against Radka Zrubáková 3: 6 and 2: 6.
At the end of January 2010 she won the Babolat World Tennis Calssic , a Grade 2 tournament on the ITF Seniors Tour , the women's 35 competition against Carolina Blouin , which she defeated 6-1 and 6-0.

Personal
Jana Nejedly was born in Prague, grew up in Vancouver and lived in Toronto, Boston and Naples. Her sister Martina Nejedly was also a professional tennis player and Fed Cup player for Canada.
