Janko Kahle (* 1974 in Hamburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Janko Kahle completed his acting studies with diploma from 1996 to 2000 at the Mozarteum University of Music and Performing Arts in Salzburg .

He had his first theater engagement from 2000 to 2002 at the Landestheater Linz . From 2002 to 2005 he was a member of the ensemble at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich and then from 2005 to 2009 at the Schauspielhaus Bochum . Since the 2009/10 season he has been part of the drama ensemble at the State Theater in Hanover . At the theater he worked a. a. directed by Elmar Goerden , Jorinde Dröse , Tina Lanik , Dieter Dorn , Christian Tschirner , Lars-Ole Walburg , Tom Kühnel , Hasko Weber , Marius von Mayenburg , Mina Selehpour , Martin Laberenz and Florian Fiedler .

In the 2010/11 season he played the leading role of Ravn in Tom Kühnel's stage version of The Boss of It All based on the film of the same name by Lars von Trier at the Hanover Theater . In the 2012/13 season he was Just the servant in a new production of the Lessing comedy Minna by Barnhelm by Hasko Weber. In 2014, together with third and fourth year students at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, he developed the theater evening Chronik // From the end of the red man, based on texts by Swetlana Alexijewitsch, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature . In the 2014/15 season he appeared as Secretary Camille in Georges Feydeau's farce Flea in the Ear . At the season opening of the 2015/16 season he played Galloudec in Heiner Müller's play The Order, alongside Corinna Harfouch . In the 2016/17 season he took on the title role in Othello in a new production by Florian Fiedler . In 2017 he appeared in the tragic comedy India at the Sommerhoftheater des Schauspiel Hannover . In the 2017/18 season he was Privy Councilor Bruckner in Milan Peschel's stage version of the novel Mephisto by Klaus Mann . In the 2018/19 season he played the son in Łukasz Twarkowski's stage production of the classic cartoon series Once Upon a Time at the Hanover Theater .

In 2020 Kahle will be on the stage of the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus as a guest in the life of Galilei .

Kahle has also been in front of the camera for several film and television productions. In the 5th season of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar (2008) he took on an episode role as a carpenter and suspect son-in-law of a killed bridal shop owner. In the 14th season of SOKO Wismar (2017) he was seen again in an episode role, this time as engineer Beckmann.

Kahle also works as a speaker and reciter . He lives in Hanover .
