The 1987/88 season was the 22nd season of the Japan Ice Hockey League , the highest Japanese ice hockey division . The Ōji Eagles became champions for the tenth time in the club's history . The top scorer with 41 points was Yuji Iwamoto from the Snow Brand Ice Hockey Club .
